Purpose and Application

 

Pollutant emissions from waste incinerators and hazardous waste incinerators are limited in many countries. Gaseous pollutants are monitored with contineous monitoring systems. Particulate pollutants and pollutants with dust and gas fraction have to be monitored periodically using isokinetic sampling systems.

 

EU regulation 2000/76/EG describes limit values for
dust	metals	dioxins

 

These components need to be monitored periodically using isokinetic sampling equipment.

 

Measurements of these pollutants have a high uncertainty in the results. In the rage of  the limit values the uncertainty is ~30% and at lower concetrations the uncertainty respectivrly higher. The Genius 5 was developed to reduce the uncertainty and to increase the quality of these measurement.
